By using Reyoy you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What Reyoy is

Reyoy reads publicly available information about a post on X, Reddit, Bluesky, Mastodon or Hacker News and renders a video of that text in your browser. It also has pages that build mockups of AI chat products and a search results page, where you write both halves yourself. It is offered free of charge, as is, with no promise that it will keep working or that it will suit any particular purpose.

You are responsible for the content

You must have the right to reuse whatever you put into a video. In practice that means your own posts, or posts you have permission from the author to use. Post text, display names, profile pictures and images belong to the people who made them. Reyoy gives you no licence to anyone else's material, and using this tool does not create one.

You are also responsible for following the rules of X and of whatever platform you publish the video on, and for any credit or attribution the author expects.

What you must not do

• Do not make anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, deceptive or sexually explicit involving minors.
• Do not impersonate anyone, or fabricate a post and present it as real. See the section below.
• Do not use Reyoy to infringe copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights.
• Do not attempt to overload, scrape at volume, reverse engineer or otherwise abuse the service or its serverless functions.

We may block access if the service is being abused.

Manual mode and impersonation

"Write it yourself" lets you type any text you like onto the card. It is there so you can lay out your own drafts, make a clearly labelled parody, or rebuild a post that would not load. It is not there to manufacture evidence.

You must not use manual mode, or any other part of Reyoy, to:

• Create a post attributed to a real person, brand, publication or account that they did not write, and present or share it as genuine.
• Remove, crop out, blur, cover or otherwise defeat the "Recreated" label that Reyoy puts on every hand written card, or edit it out of the exported file.
• Add a verification tick, badge or any other mark of authenticity to a card that Reyoy did not put there.
• Fake screenshots, quotes or statements for harassment, fraud, defamation, election interference, market manipulation or any other deception.

Every card typed by hand is marked. Reyoy renders a small "Recreated" label in the corner of the card and never draws a verified tick in manual mode. The same applies to the AI chat mockups, which are written by hand by definition. That label is a safety feature, not decoration, and stripping it out is a breach of these terms as much as faking the post in the first place. Parody and satire are fine when they are obviously that and when the label stays on.

If someone uses Reyoy to fake a post in your name, report it through the contact page and it will be dealt with.

No warranty

Reyoy is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement. Posts may fail to load, exports may fail, and features may change or disappear without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reyoy and its owner are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or business, arising out of your use of or inability to use the site. Total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to zero, since the service is free.

Indemnity

You agree to hold Reyoy and its owner harmless from any claim arising out of the content you create with the tool or where you publish it.

Affiliate links

Some links on Reyoy are affiliate links. The banner marked "Affiliate" under the tool, the card that can appear after you export a video, and the links on the tools page, all pointing at Revid, ElevenLabs or Submagic, are affiliate links. The banner is an official image supplied by that company. If you follow an affiliate link and buy or subscribe, Reyoy may earn a commission from that company. It costs you nothing extra, and it does not change the price you pay.

Affiliate links are marked where they appear, and the footer of every page says that some links are affiliate links. Reyoy only points at products that are a sensible next step for a video made here, but you should judge any product on its own merits. Your dealings with that company are between you and them, under their terms.

Not affiliated with any of these

Reyoy is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X Corp, Reddit, Bluesky, Mastodon, Y Combinator, OpenAI, Anthropic, SpaceXAI or Google. Every product name and logo belongs to its owner, and is referred to here only to describe what the tool does. The avatars drawn on the AI chat pages are deliberately generic rather than anyone's logo.

Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
