Why the title types first
On a Reddit post the title is the hook. Reyoy types it out before the body, off the same character count, so the viewer reads the question or the setup first and the story after it. The progress bar along the bottom shows how much is left.
Long stories
The video lasts as long as the typing takes plus the hold at the end, and typing speed goes up to 60 characters a second. A long post at a slow speed makes a long video, so for a big story raise the speed, or split the story across several videos using "Write it yourself".
Anything typed or edited by hand carries a small Recreated label, which is why the example on this page shows one.
When Reddit holds data back
Reddit started refusing some anonymous reads during 2026. Reyoy then falls back to the thread's feed, which has the text but no score, comment count or avatar, so those can come back empty. Private, quarantined and removed threads cannot be read at all.
